Our First Clout Shoot - Sunday 11th October 2020 

 

Our first Clout Shoot on the club’s new shooting ground at British Iron Works.

A great response and thanks to Jonathan from Bowbrook and Phil from Long Mynd who gave us all the Clout Training required.

Perfect weather although the sun caused some problems as we were aiming directly into it. Still, I think we gave the clout flag a bit of a scare.

At first the target flags seemed a ridiculous distance from the line but we soon got into the swing of things. So much so that Lilly who started shooting at the under 14 ladies distance of 80 yards ended the morning shooting at the full senior ladies distance of 120 yards.
